Breast imaging advisory panel on the future of breast screening and imaging

Dr Bell was honoured to be invited to speak on a panel about breast screening and imaging, organised by Siemens Healthineers. There were many thought provoking discussions around equity in breast screening, the future implementation of personalised screening and breast density. Higher breast density leads to decreased detection of cancer on a mammogram and is considered one of the risk factors for breast cancers.
